Hello!

I’m Dr. Kimberly Jayne (she/they).

I am deeply passionate about growth, healing, play therapy, parents and families, and making the world a nurturing place for children and all their adults.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington, and a Board-Certified Counselor. I am a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, a Certified Child-Centered Play Therapy Supervisor & Trainer, a Certified Child-Parent Relationship Therapy Supervisor & Trainer, and a Certified Child-Centered Group Play Therapy Supervisor.  I am also certified in Perinatal Mental Health.

In addition to my clinical practice, I work as a Full Professor of Counselor Education at Saybrook University and am the director of a play therapy program at a preschool providing free, on-site play therapy services to children and families. I teach, train, and supervise

I work with children, parents, and families through play, art, sand, and talk therapy. I enjoy working with individuals and families experiencing challenges and joys in parenting, children and adults healing from trauma and journeying through loss and grief, folks who are navigating anxiety, and gender-expansive and trans children and their families.

I currently supervise Registered Associates seeking licensure as LPCs and LMFTs in Oregon. I also supervise and provide consultation for play therapists seeking to become registered play therapists, school-based registered play therapists, and those completing certification in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), and Child-Centered Group Play Therapy (CCGPT) or working towards credentialing as a Registered Play Therapist.
