I am deeply passionate about growth, play therapy, parents and families, and making the world a nurturing place for children and all their adults.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington, and a Board-Certified Counselor. I am a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, a Certified Child-Centered Play Therapy Supervisor & Trainer, a Certified Child-Parent Relationship Therapy Supervisor & Trainer, and a Certified Child-Centered Group Play Therapy Supervisor.  I am also certified in Perinatal Mental Health.

I train and supervise play therapists internationally. I currently supervise play therapists seeking to become registered play therapists, school-based registered play therapists, and those completing certification in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), and Child-Centered Group Play Therapy (CCGPT) or working towards credentialing as a Registered Play Therapist.

In addition to training, supervision, and consultation, I work as a Full Professor of Counselor Education at Saybrook University and serve as the director of a play therapy program at a preschool, providing free, on-site services to children and families.

My Services

  • I provide consultation for play therapists and mental health professionals to support their ongoing development as child-centered play therapists, navigate challenging clinical issues, and support burnout prevention.

  • I provide individual and group supervision for child-centered play therapists seeking CCPT/CCGPT/CPRT certification, working towards their RPT credential, and provide supervision of supervision.
